This is one beautiful stud! Only the best animals are consigned to Futurity. Sundance was consigned to the 2019 Futurity auction and we were lucky enough to purchase him. He then went on to take a 4th in a highly competitive fawn class.
His conformation is spot on, his fleece superior and his head is gorgeous!
His lineage is top notch. His sire is A Paca Fun's Sonic Shift, grandsires A Paca Fun's Super Sonic and Silver Legend of KPR! These are some of the biggest names in gray alpacas. His dam though is equally impressive! New Forest Summer Ember is a daughter of Locota's Constantino. His dam is a 4X Champion whose 7th year fleece won a championship! She has produced champion offspring!
His fleece is some the brightest fleece I've ever seen. Extreme brightness, bundling and oh so fine! Take a look at his histogram - 17.7 micron with a 99.8% comfort factor! UPDATED HISTOGRAM 18 MICRON WITH AN 18 CV .8% GREATER THAN 30 AND AN SD OF 3.2 AND A COMFORT FACTOR OF 99.2%!
We feel that Sundance is a gray in disguise and definitely plan to breed him to our gray females. His dam is black so color runs deep in his blood. We will put him on every color from black to gray to even white. His possibilities are limitless.
