We purchased Mary Katherine in the Destination Auction knowing that her previous owners Crescent Moon Ranch consign some of their best to this auction. Mary Katherine is a beautiful Snowmass Matrix Belvedere daughter. She is robust with excellent bone and density. Her fleece is lovely with very high frquency crimp and excellent brightness. Her previous owner and breeder rated her fleece as an "A" at shearing time. Mary Katherine does have enough spots to make her an appaloosa by AOA show rules. That being said she can be bred for solid and possibly appy cria. This makes her very valuable to us! Mary Katherine's fleece was entered in the AOA National Fleece Show where she scored an elite fleece!! Her maiden breeding is to Manifest Destiny! Very excited for what this can produce! Cannot wait to meet the cria she is carrying. Mary Katherine delivered a gorgeous little boy from her pairing with Manifest Destiny! He is dark brown. She is a wonderful first time mom and very attentive to her cria. Mary Katherine is confirmed pregnant by Snow Diamond Beaujolais!!! We are super excited by this pairing! This should produce an elite fleece.
